Rare and important lithograph of Cataract Gorge, Launceston, by one of the most famous and important Australian colonial artists. From Guerard's, Eugene von Guerard's Australian Landscapes. Before the South Esk, rising at a much greater elevation than the Tamar, effects a junction with the latter river, it descends a series of cataracts, the last of which is depicted in the accompanying engraving.
