The story of the destruction of Jerusalem, the captivity in Babylon, the return to Palestine, the efforts to rebuild the temple at Jerusalem, the deliverance brought by Queen Esther, and the efforts under Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem."This is the saddest book of all, for it tells you how the Jews were taken captive for their sins, but we hope the time is near when they will be restored to Jesus in their own land.
