About this Item
Uncolored view Lima, Peru from Ogilby's America, Being the Latest, and Most Accurate Description of the New World. Fair to good condition only, with discoloration in top margin, lighter soiling in other margins, and some dark markings running vertically towards the left and right sides of the printed area. Ogilby's work is an expanded English translation of Arnoldus Montanus's Die Nieuwe en onbekende Weereldâ ¦ Shows many ships in Lima harbor, including several which are on fire with lifeboats rowing away from the burning ships. A fine dark impression, though the paper does reflect some less-than-optimal storage over the years. Seller Inventory # p00088
