288pp. 7.5 inches. Beige buckram, black titles. Condition vg, very slightly rubbed at spine extremities, dusty tops only. Internally as new, no owner's marks, faint marks to back endpaper. In original light green jacket, vg, the white back and spine slightly spotted and darkened, very slight upper edgewear and at spine extremities, very faint overall aging. A devastating satire behind a brilliantly camouflaged facade of fantasy and playfulness. The author is described as a wit with a comprehensive armoury.he belabours our civilisation with enthusiasm.
