Tall, thick octavo, 639 pages, illustrated with photos and drawings. Floral end papers. The largest section contains 144 pages of cookery, the remainder a wide range of practical recipes for the household, workshop and farm: first aid, health, management of livestock, insect pests, the "woman's toilet," family pets, cleaning, etc. etc. Good condition: top right corner of front free end page torn away (presumably name removal), rear inner hinge is weak, front inner hinge appears re-glued, some soil on the title page.
