Brown boards with gilt lettering on cover and spine. Inscription on front free endpaper. Edges are lightly discoloured and foxed. Also some light foxing on hinge edge of pages, throughout. Binding is neat and sturdy. All illustrations are in great condiition. Covers are well thumbed and rubbed. Corners are rounded. Head and tail of spine, lightly bumped. There is the odd scuff mark and small stain on cront and back covers. Edges are showing some wear, otherwise this book is in good condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound.
