First edition, (72) pp., bound in half brown cloth and pictorial boards. Spine strengthened, edges and corners worn, cloth getting loose on some parts of spine, age toning, few tears restored. But more than acceptable copy for the black lined illustrations in the text, the pictorial paste papers and flyleaves, the illustrated title page and the 17 full page illustrations in warm and dense colours. 29 x 25 cm. Very good = no major defects, no name on endpapers;
Good = minor defects, e.g. minor damages to spine and dustover, some browning and or foxing of the paper, name or library stamp on endpapers:, light creases etc.
Reasonable = clearly read and used copy: creases, underlining, damaged or faded spines, etc.
