About this Item
Wraps. 24 pp. With a few illustrations. A brief overview of the history of LGBTQ+ figures and movements, mostly in the US, from the 1800s on, in an effort to document the different goals held by various groups within the broader gay movement. In the end, Kepner does not advocate for any single course of action but asks people to recognize their differing goals to unite for a greater common cause. By Jim Kepner, an author and gay activist. He wrote for ONE magazine until the early 1960s and was instrumental in creating an archive of LGBTQ+ material at a time when very little of it was preserved. GOOD condition. Some toning, soiling, wrinkling and creasing to the covers. Seller Inventory # 019904
