Original green publisher s cloth with gilt titles on spine and top cover, gilt advert to bottom cover, speckled edges, 4 fold-out maps of Great Britain and Ireland, India, Central Europe and Europe. 8vo., pp. xxxvi, 659, adverts to endpapers and reverse of maps. Spine a little shaky, top edge dusty, small tear to first map (5cm) repaired with Japanese tissue, light foxing to edges of pages where maps have been placed, but otherwise good condition. Bradshaw s popular guides were first published in 1839 and came out annually until 1961 although Bradshaw himself died in 1853. Seller Inventory # A00124
