An early and important work on fishing for tarpon along the coast of Florida. Dimock's son, Julian, had captured some of the most remarkable action photographs of the day. Most of these were taken with large plate-style cameras and often, images and equipment were destroyed when leaping tarpon crashed into their canoe! This copy is in good condition with vertical crease on front cover; unnamed bookplate to front pastedown; light edge wear at corners; internally clean with all plates bright. Reprinted in modern times but these early editions are far superior in image quality and are becoming hard-to-find. Seller Inventory # 006588
