Delightful Travel Book printed for the 75th Annual Meeting of the British Medical Association. Includes large Fold-LOut Colour Map on the Peninsular of South-West England. Very well illustrated with Monochrome Photos, mostly views, a fine Portrait of Sir Francis Drake, protected by captioned tissue guard & maps. Frontis illustrated with a view of Clovelly, protected by tissue guard. XX (20) preliminary pages. Main text 219 pages + a series of Plates of Devonshire Screens, Pulpits and Lace. Followed by pages of adverts at the back. 9 1/2" Tall, 1.4 Kilos. White faux vellum cover with Gilt Armorial Bearings and Lettering on front and spine. Small tears to surface paper along sides of spine. Hinges sound and text block firm. Penciled name on ffep. No other inscriptions. Weight, 1.4 Kilos so shipping Outside UK will be extra.
