VG- in G- d/j. Nelsonian Library edition of Buchan s collection of stories with the theme of the title. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Colour frontispiece and 7 other black & white plates. Some darkening along the edges of the boards and the front has a slight water stain. Corners lightly rubbed. Internally very clean although text block has a few marks on the edges. The top edge is stained green. School prize certificate on front fly-leaf. The pictorial d/j has large chips at the spine ends, with most of the title missing. The rear panel is soiled and has a triangular piece missing at the top. In spite of all this the jacket is substantially complete. Seller Inventory # B4411
