This fascinating book is in very good minus condition due to some fading to the red cloth along the top edges of the binding. This fading just extends a quarter-inch below the top edge of the book, does not protrude further down than that and has not much diminished the overall quality of the cover. The corners show very modest wear and one corner is slightly bumped. The interior shows no real condition issues could be described as very good or better. The publishing date of 1947 is on the title page and the copyright page notes the book had been earlier published as 'Black Anger.' The dust wrapper is in only good status with fading to the back panel and considerable edge wear to the bottom of the wrapper with some crinkling and quarter-inch pieces missing from the jacket at every fold. This is an account of a native african medicine man, his life experiences and inner conflicts, as thrown into a colliding world of black and white as explored by Doctor Wulf Sachs, professional psychoanalyst. 324 pages.
