18x11cm, [136] pp, THREE PAMPHLETS. Each bound separately in binder's blank wrappers. 3 pamphlets by Danish painter C.F. Høyer [1775-1855]: 1) "Bidrag til det Kongelige Kunstacademies Annaler" [Kjøbenhavn, 1825, 38pp]; 2) "Andet Bidrag til det Kongelige Kunstacademies Annaler" [Kjøbenhavn, 1826,74pp]; 3) "Anmeldelse om mine seneste Arbeider" [Kjøbenhavn, 1832, 24pp] [Høyer, a protege [ca. 1803-05] & stylistic imitator of Nicolai Abraham Abildgaard lived in Rome ca. 1805-11 & was close to Thorvaldsen. In December 1811 he returned to Copenhagen, was accepted as member of the Royal Academy in 1812& repeatedly sought a professorship without success. His bitterness towards the Academy & its director C.F. Hansen,expressed in a series of polemics, resulted in his removal from the Academy in 1826.] Later [mid 19th Century] blank wrappers.
