Bibliotheca Chemica is the catalogue of the collection of James Young, which was acquired by Ferguson and is now in the library of Strathclyde University. The inside flap of Volume 1 opines that "this new facsimile edition although itself a severely limited one brings a work of the greatest intrinsic value before the general public for the first time".
