233 pp., 8vo, green cloth, gilt titles, t.e.g. Designed by Bruce Rogers. With the bookplates of Mildred Bliss and her husband, Robert Woods Bliss, who were co-founders of the Dumbarton Oaks library and art collections in Washington, DC. Small withdrawal stamps from Dumbarton Oaks on both bookplates (no other ex-library markings). Calling card of Mildred Linnen to "Mildred" (presumably Mildred Bliss), with autograph note dated "Xmas 1898" in a microscopic hand. An exceptionally clean and well-preserved copy with a distinguished provenance. Minor rubbing at spine ends and tips, spine a little faded. Haas 21; Work of Bruce Rogers 32. Seller Inventory # 1195
