Very slight wear to corners, evidence of bookplate removal from front free endpaper, four-digit number stamped on title page, otherwise unmarked, clean and sound. Dust jacket is chipped at corners and spine ends. Benjamin Nathan Cardozo (1870-1938) was an American lawyer and judge who served on the New York Court of Appeals from 1914 to 1932 and as a United States Supreme Court Justice from 1932 until his death in 1938.
