This VG+ quality third print Landmark book was published by Random House in 1953. The book is square, extremely clean, completely free of corner bumps and edge dings. The spine ends are very lightly bumped without fabric damage; the bottom edges have no wear; the upper rear corner has a small triangular area (all sides are less than 1") of water stain and a tiny area of bleaching of the red binding. Except for a small return address label on the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any type and paper damage of any sort. The paper is very slightly toned and is very flexible. The VG- quality jacket is price-clipped, has some tiny chips at both front corners and at the head and heel of the spine; and the top rear corner has a brownish water stain.
