Folio, bound in full burgundy morocco, covers beveled with gilt and blind stamped borders. Upper cover gilt lettered, full gilt dentelle turnovers, and full red and gilt marbled endpapers. The spine elaborately decorated with gilt ornamental devices between raised bands with gilt lines, a.e.g. xiii, 593, Index. A fine copy, spine panel lightly mellowed, there is some slight rubbing to the extremities and a tiny split to a joint, text-block is fresh and clean, hinges are strong and tight. THIS IS A VERY ELABORATELY ILLUSTRATED AND IMPRESSIVE BOOK, WITH NUMEROUS PERSONAL NARRATIVES AND PHOTOGRAPHS FROM VARIOUS BIG GAME HUNTERS, ANGLERS, ETC.
