Volume I - Australia & New Zealand (1876) (pages 1 - 209) bound together with South Australia & Western Australia (1875) (pages 1 - 146) Volume II - Victoria & Tasmania (1875) (pages 1 - 195) bound together with New Zealand (1875) (pages 1 - 166), Wear to covers and spine, mainly edges and corners, Some wear to surface of covers, Corners well bumped and edges worn, Top and bottom of spine bumped, Volume I - Internally in good condition, pages crisp and clear, some wear to edges and corners, 1.5 cm strip missing from top edge of the title page and a corner from the next page (1.5 cm x 4 cm) frontis map of Australia present and in reasonable condition, rip on right edge 8 cm starting at hinge and going through map, rip on left side on centre fold 5.5 cm also a small rip on top edge, 3rd fold 1.5cm, on border only, webbing exposed and partly ripped on join with book 6cm, binding a little loose in a couple of places Volume II - Internally in reasonable / good condition, pages crisp and clear except for a couple of finger prints on edges, the frontis map of Victoria is detached from the spine, but no rips or tears, left edge a little creased, first three pages detached, they are - 1875 title page, and 1876 title page with 2 cm strip missing from top edge and next page with the section introduction Victoria & Tasmania title, next page is the contents page, is attached and in good condition, map of Tasmania present at the start of that section and in good condition, no rips or tears, and attached, map of New Zealand present at the start of that section, rip on right edge at hinge with book 3.5 cm just beneath centre fold, 1cm rip on top edge, 1st fold.
