This is a facsimile of the first edition, in shiny cream cloth impressed with gilt roundels of Japanese design.Preface by Dr. George Lafourcade.The four pieces of the black DJ are laid in, as is a small cartoon from a newspaper of Mr Swinburne and a printed notice from the publisher stating "The present facsimile of ATALANTA IN CALYDN has been made by kind permission of Messrs. William Heinemann Ltd., and is offered in an edition limited to 500 copies." There is a very little , very faint foxing to front prelims and a little still faint but more visible to the very last page, the actual text being clean. Seller Inventory # 005197
