This is a mounted and framed original poster, 30 x 40 cm in black frame glazed. Artwork by "Jockinsen". Story by Pierre Frondaie. Directed by Kenneth MacKenna & William Cameron Menzies. Starring: Warner Baxter, Elissa Landi & Paul Cavanagh. We understand the film was made but never screened, but are open to correction on this. Dated "1930" (see third image). [Pierre Frondaie (born Albert René Fraudet; 1884 ? 1948, was a French poet, novelist, and playwright. Wiki]. Also, William Cameron Menzies 1896 ? 1957, was an American film production designer (a job title he invented) and art director as well as a film director and producer during a career spanning five decades. He earned acclaim for his work in silent film, and later pioneered the use of color in film for dramatic effect. This film is not listed in his very extensive Wiki biography.
