At the request of Joseph, his men search the luggage of his brothers. They find a golden cup in the bag of his youngest brother Benjamin. Benjamin is taken as a prisoner and brought back to Joseph.Illustration for the Old Testament, Gen. 44: 12-34. Below, the title in Hebrew, English, German, Latin, French and Dutch.Signed at bottom: 'G. Hoet del. / A: van Buissen fecit'.The plate was integrated in: 'Figures de la Bible, Amsterdam', by B. Picart, published in Amsterdam in 1720. Also used in: 'Taferelen der voornaamste geschiedenissen van het Oude en Nieuwe Testament, en andere boeken, bij de Heilige Schrift gevoegt' published in The Hague by Pieter de Hondt in 1728.[NL] In opdracht van Jozef doorzoeken zijn mannen de bagage van zijn broers. In de zak van zijn jongste broer Benjamin vinden zij een gouden beker. Benjamin wordt gevangen genomen en terug gebracht naar Jozef. Illustratie voor het Oude Testament, Gen. 44: 12-34. Onder de voorstelling een titel in het Hebreeuws, Engels, Duits, Latijn, Frans en Nederlands.
