About this Item
Antique chromolithographed articulated Victorian paper doll, 8" tall x 6 1/2" wide, with well-dressed Victorian lady skating with two children. Several die-cut parts. Printed on thin card stock and originally a 'Supplement to The Boston Sunday Globe, Jan. 5, 1896', as printed on lower portion of display. Also, 'Forbes Doll, Patented July 30, 1895' printed at bottom edge. This a Very Good Plus copy with only the extreme lower left tip creased (a tiny area) and some age-toning and small spots of white residue to plain paper back. Otherwise an excellent specimen, with colors still vibrant. SEE ALL 3 PHOTOS ENLARGED. Seller Inventory # 02572
