Red buckram with title in silver on front cover and spine. Condition: Good, with light shelfwear to covers. Light foxing to endpapers. Small newspaper clipping relating to Annigoni pasted onto front endpaper. Binding sound. Dustjacket condition: Poor, generally shelfworn with some tears and missing chunks (see image). Loosely inserted with the book is a handwritten and signed postcard dated 1964 sent from Annigoni in Florence to the previous owner of the book, an art gallery owner named Olaf Barnett based in London. This book records the journey through Spain taken by Peitro Annigoni (1910-1988) and the photographer Alex Stirling where each recorded in his own particular medium the landscapes and the people.
