This is two leather-bound volumes, numbers 4 and 8, of an 8-volume set; translated from the French; gold lettering and decoration on the spines; a green pattern to the page edges. Both books have an antique library sticker (referring to books number 54 and 58 in the "Library of School District No. 8 town of Lenox") on the inside front board, and corresponding writing on the front endpaper, but are otherwise unmarked; age-toning and foxing to the pages; the boards are bumped and worn at the corners and spine ends; no dust jackets, as issued; Mylar protected.
