Edmund Clarence Stedman 1890. (autograph poem, signed on a sheet of gray note paper, some tanning to edges). George E. Woodbury: Columbia College. May 8, 1900. Dear Sir:- You can obtain the "Verses from the Advocate" at the University Book-Store at Cambridge, I think; the other volumes are probably inaccesible. "The North Shore Watch" is much sought for, but never found. The Players Elegy is in two forms-my own issue of 35 copies, and the Players Club issue of 1000 copies, I believe. The latter has been sold for fifteen dollars, but was issued only to members, free of cost, originally. You have a remarkable list of my little waifs, and I am pleased that you care to obtain them. If I see any opportunity to provide you with them I will do so; but none of them have yet been seen in a catalogue. Believe me, sincerely yours, G. E. Woodberry. Paul Lemperly, Esq. (typed letter on a sheet of note paper, with one letter in the author's name corrected in ink; the printed list of Lemperly's "Woodbury wants", on a small sheet of paper, is bound in facing the typed letter). Ernest Thompson Seton autograph with a pawprint, on a small plain calling card. This item is sold together only, with the four author's items described above. Seller Inventory # ABE-1205956102
