Early boy's adventure science fiction. My best guess is that this is an early reprint, ca. 1931, because the ads in the back include two books not published until 1931 (BOMBA THE JUNGLE BOY AMONG THE PYGMIES and BOB DEXTER AND THE SEAPLANE MYSTERY). It appears to be identical in binding with what's described as the first edition -- brick-red cloth with black printing. Bumped on edges and spine, slight foxing on edge of page block -- generally clean inside. The illustrations seem to consist of decorated endpapers and a frontispiece. Seller Inventory # 401486
