Lightly scuffed, edge worn leather covers with a few light cracks in the leather. Red spine label "Mary Peisley" legible, leather over spine cracked, spine ends chipped. Front cover detached. Missing ffe, owner name on title page, inner hinge cracked else binding tight, light foxing, else pages very good. Mary Peisley traveled to America in 1753, visiting Charleston SC, North Carolina and Virginia. After her return, she met and married Samuel Neale.
