Uncolored engraved portrait of Abraham Lincoln. Good condition, with two holes in the margins near the top and water stain at bottom right corner. The holes are outside the plate line. The water stain comes inside the plates line but does not extend as far as the printed area. Edgar Marshallā s Abraham Lincoln engraving was widely praised for being the finest portrait ever done of Abraham Lincoln. This dignified, handsome formal bust length portrait of Lincoln is as fine an example of American portraiture in print as one can find.
