Coloured frontispiece, title vignette and 12 large coloured illustrations in the text for the months, plus 4 full page coloured illustrations of little girls, one for each season, followed by 2 pages each with a coloured illustration of a young woman and a toddler with a 4 line verse below. Hair-line vertical surface crack to both covers next to spine, no inscriptions, light browning to half-title and final page naming the printer, faintest offsetting from coloured illustrations onto a few pages.
