About the Author:
David L. Snellgrove, well known for his earlier publications relating to Indian and Tibetan Buddhism, has recently focused his energies on Southeast Asia. He holds a Doctor of Literature from the University of Cambridge, and is Professor Emeritus of the University of London and a Fellow of the British Academy.
