Book Description Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. Designed by Janos Lengyd, photographs by many different photographers (illustrator). I believe this is the First English Edition. There are no additional printings referenced. Fifteen photographers are responsible for the color photographs. Five for the black and white photographs. The book is an excellent condition. The corners and edges and spine ends show no wear at all. The gilt lettering on the front and spine is very bright. There is one oddity which I feel must be the case on all of the copies: as you can see in the second photograph, there is a little piece of cloth above the top edge of the spine. I do believe that the book was produced that way. Moving along, the book is square and solidly bound from cover to cover. I don't see any binding issues anywhere. The pages are exceptionally clean throughout. I'm not seeing any soiling of any kind. There are a great many color photographs. They all appear to be in perfect condition. I'm not seeing any creasing. No dogeared corners. There are no markings. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. I've had the dust jacket in a protective cover for as long as I've owned the book. The jacket appears to be close to perfect. I don't see any tears or creases. I don't see any soiling. The flaps are in excellent condition. The jacket is not priced or clipped. Because of the polyester cover my photos are likely to show some glare. So if you see something that looks like it could be glare rest assured that it is. This is an heavier than average book. Thus the price for shipping overseas will likely be higher than what is quoted. From the dust jacket 'This volume presents the loveliest and most remarkable objects in six of Budapest's museums. Outstanding examples of Hungarian national culture include a number of masterpieces of universal art. There is a short history of each of the museums with illustrations of the most valuable objects in color and black-and-white reproductions with descriptions.'. Seller Inventory # 002703
