When talented Maggie joins Funicular Theatre, she is mesmerised by Philippa, the star of the company. The strangely compelling actress treats Maggie with disdain. Yet behind her facade of indifference, Philippa is suffering in silence, forcing herself to hide her equally passionate interest in Maggie. Meanwhile, set designer/artist Kay quietly observes what is happening and turns what she sees into works of art. Will Maggie ever land her one true love? Will Philippa ever learn to reveal her real self? Will Kay ever gain the artistic success she deserves? Set in the dramatic wilds of New Zealand, the story has a strong, believable cast, plenty of angst (oh the angst) and camp hilarity, lots of comings and goings, but no coming-out trauma, no preaching, and no one dies in the end. An intriguing study of complex relationships between women. Revealing Philippa is a universal story of love, suffering, and moving on."

She left New Zealand in 1976 and after sojourns in Australia (Sydney) and England (London), arrived in the Netherlands (Amsterdam) in 1980, where she worked as a corporate journalist. In 2000 she followed her heart to the far north of the Netherlands and set up a successful editing + translation business. Writing remains a passion.
