About the Author:

Nada Marie Anid, Ph.D., is the first female dean of New York Institute of Technology's School of Engineering and Computing Sciences. In this role, she oversees over 80 engineering and computing sciences faculty members and 3,500 students in Manhattan, Old Westbury, N.Y., Abu Dhabi, Vancouver, and Nanjing, China

Rahilla Zafar was contracted by Cisco Systems while researching, writing, and editing this book. She travelled to over seven countries conducting field research including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Israel, Palestine, and the United Arab Emirates. Rahilla also helped source and edit content for this book working with contributors from over 30 countries. In August 2016, she joined the leadership team at Consensys, a New York based venture production studio, building decentralized applications on the Ethereum blockchain globally
