This book summarises the findings from the research programme Work-related Learning (2001--2004). The programme has focused on the learning that takes place in the workplace and on the interplay between school-based learning and workplace learning. There are plenty of far-reaching questions to be tackled in connection with this exciting new development. At Learning Lab Denmark, a consortium of sixteen researchers have worked with these issues over a three-year period, and their results, findings and recommendations are summed up in this book.
