This book analyzes the image of the pirate presented nowadays and compares it with the figure of the pirate as presented in the oldest documented sources. Thus, the reader will see what Greek literature has said about them in works such as the Odyssey and will learn about some of the oldest historical figures such as Madduwatta. The book also tells about the culture of the Sea Peoples that gave rise to the Greek Dark Ages.

Condition: New.
