About the Author
Antonio Mira de Amescua (Guadix, Granada, c. 1574-1644). Espana. De familia noble, estudio teologia en Guadix y Granada, mezclando su sacerdocio con su dedicacion a la literatura. Estuvo en Napoles al servicio del conde de Lemos y luego vivio en Madrid, donde participo en justas poeticas y fiestas cortesanas.
