He attended college that have little or nothing to do with his vocation as a writer ; where appropriate, he studied Economics. Mediero began writing theater in the late sixties, at the height of independent theater and he has included in the "Generation of new Spanish theater of the sixties ," which sought to renew the dramatic landscape in our country. He has won numerous awards throughout his extensive production. Mediero has been premiered many of his works ; although the representation of most of them was banned by the Censorship Board of the time and many other releases have been framed in large public and police scandals . Back in Badajoz, he has worked as administration official and has been dedicated to playwriting and cooperation in press . In the last years of the Franco dictatorship , writes and releases some of the main parts of his theatrical production, which has been called anthropophagic theater , by proposing a kind of moral and physical cannibalism. Among the works of this period include : Sisters of Buffalo Bill (1971 ) , The Car (1973 ) and The Furious Baby (1974 ) .
