Alba Lago estudio Publicidad y Relaciones Publicas en Pontevedra. Siendo estudiante se presento a varios castings y una productora local le dio la oportunidad para trabajar como redactora. Trabajo alli durante ocho meses y despues de hacer un casting entre los redactores la seleccionaron para presentar Acompanenos en la Television Gallega, donde estuvo trabajando un par de anos. Realizo otros casting para colaborar en Se lo que hicisteis y no fue seleccionada. Sin embargo, ha sido uno de los fichajes de Mediaset para sustituir a Mario Picazo como presentadora de El Tiempo. Alba tiene mucho desparpajo y carisma, comparte su vida con un perro, un bulldog frances que es el rey de la casa, y Andrea contra pronostico es su primera novela.
