About the Author
Raquel Díaz Reguera (Sevilla, Octubre 1974) dibuja y escribe desde niña. Con seis años gana su primer concurso de pintura y a partir de ahí, estudiar, probar y experimentar. Comienza Bellas Artes en la Universidad de Sevilla y complementa su formación con cursos de diseño gráfico e ilustración digital. Sin embargo, su vida profesional toma otro rumbo cuando abandona los pinceles para entregarse a su pasión por la música y la escritura.
Se instala en Madrid y, acompañada por grandes músicos, escribe las primeras letras de sus canciones. Pronto firma su primer contrato editorial con Universal Music Publishing y, al tiempo que escribe letras para artistas como Victor Manuel, Pastora Soler, Noa, Zuchero, Nek, Alba Molina, Chayanne, Miguel Ríos, Pastora Soler y otros, graba su primer disco como integrante del dúo Maldeamores. En el mundo del diseño y la maquetación, trabaja realizando imágenes corporativas para diversas empresas, cartelería y catálogos de exposiciones. Sin abandonar nunca su pasión por la escritura, comienza a escribir cuentos infantiles y a ilustrarlos. En noviembre de 2010 Thule le publica su primer álbum ilustrado, ¿Hay algo más aburrido que ser una princesa rosa?, al que seguirán: Un amor tan grande(Imaginarium, febrero de 2011), Un beso antes de desayunar (Lóguez Ediciones, Abril de 2011), El monumento a la cometa, Catálogo de besos (Thule, Noviembre de 2011), Un día de pasos alegres (Narval, Enero de 2012), Azulín, azulado (Thule, Marzo de 2012)... Actualmente suma veintisiete títulos publicados.La primavera de 2016 realizó el diseño del cartel de la Feria del libro de Sevilla.
