His initial studies performed with Robert Lewis at the National School of Painting, and continues in the years 1940-1945 with Humberto Ivaldy . He traveled to study in Buenos Aires and at the Academy of Fine Arts Ernesto Cordoba gets its title of professor of painting. He returned home and taught at the National School of Arts and secondary schools in the capital. Actively in which to Panama participated plastic ; exhibited collectively and individually painted murals in public and private institutions . He lived in Barcelona, Spain , where he worked as a painter , illustrator and teacher. His works are in museums and collections in Panama , Washington, Sao Paulo , New York and Bogota.
