Cristina López Barrio estudió Derecho en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y se ha especializado en Propiedad Intelectual. Su primera obra ganó el II Premio Villa de Pozuelo de Alarcón de Novela Juvenil, de la editorial Everest (2009). Con su primer libro para adultos, La casa de los amores imposibles (Plaza & Janés, 2010), se dio a conocer al gran público, cosechando un gran éxito entre los lectores.
