In America, it is the THANKSGIVING time and the phone lines are ringing frantically. The call centre receives one call from a very special caller, GOD. A call that alters everything. Although, it is vastly based on this story of 6 characters, the book initiates with a train journey from Kanpur to Delhi. The narrating author meets a young girl on the train, who offers to narrate to him an account with a prerequisite that he will have to convert it into his 2nd publication. The author hesitantly agrees. And the story is of that particular night at the call centre in Gurgaon. The story is narrated through Shyam's perspective. The narrations include emotions of lost love, disillusioned aspirations, lack of warmth from family, stress of patriarchal system and the work environs of multinationals.

this book is a good inspiration for how to handle your problem.. over here shyam a guy who works in d call center his problems are shown and how he handles it but actually he doesn't handle it but gets messed up so here its a thing to learn how to handle situations like this and most importantly you should not loose your confidence at any state keep faith in yourself to know what i am saying do read the book.. its good.. --anandi jivrajani Aug 30, 2011

See people, I ain't here to criticise or support Chetan Bhagat. I just want to say, I read this book today, and trust me , its not that bad pple say. it is one of the finest book of Chetan Bhagat and deals with young generation who are not in iit and who have to work for there own purpose,story moves really well and make you to turn pages and each character is described well and makes you to realise thier pain and problem.Reading it once will really involve you in the story .Loves the services of the Flipcart and delevery --DATTA LOKHANDE 05 Oct 2014
