Review:
-'European Perceptions of the Spanish-American War of 1898', published by Peter Lang AG, European Academic Publishers, in Switzerland, is a fine example of the high quality of work now being done by Europeans in American studies.- (John Allen Gable, Theodore Roosevelt Association Journal)
-...the authors present not only very valuable insights into the complex nexus between public opinion, politics and foreign policy in Europe, they also offer a refreshing and well balanced view of global conditions during the war.- (Ragnhild Fiebig-von Haase, Iberoamericana)
