The historian Hendrik Neubauer is also a non-fiction author and pictorial editor. In this volume of unusual and fascinating historical photo-documents, he turns the spotlight away from prominent historical figures and concentrates on ordinary people - with all their eccentricities. The picture material stems from the collection of the Stockholm agency "Bild och Text", which was transferred in the 1960s to the archive of the Swedish state television station. The archive generously opened the doors to its rich treasure house for the sake of this volume.
