Practical guide from psychologist Eva Wlodarek (1947 -) towards cultivating an attractive personal presentation that others enjoy & find stimulating --- it's amazing what factors & behavioral patterns contribute to this attainment. Wlodarek goes beyond platitudes about clothing, overt cheerfulness or rehearsed puns. The goal is to show one's strengths by being genuine, open & sympathetic. She notes, generally, women, unlike men, more often have difficulty selling themselves and/or voicing their own needs. Career women are more likely to adapt to male strategies. But in private life, women tend to adapt too much to the wishes of their men folk at the expense of hiding their own needs & views and thus lose their individuality & charisma, and become invisible. The tragic consequence is often the man finds his partner boring, and, in the worst case, simply leaves her. Crisis are common in life.
