It was premised on the following research question: What major challenges are faced by Music Educators during the process of selecting pre-service music majors? Because of its qualitative nature, data for the study were collected through interview guides, observation schedule and document analysis checklist. The population for the study comprised Music Educators and third year pre-service students.
