Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 470pgs, a superb tome detailing in text and image the vast world of Oceanic Art through the lense of the Barbier-Mueller collection. Excellent condition overall, attractive copy of the scarce book. Binding has a very slight lean but is very sturdy and solid. Boards are clean and firm. Interior is bright, clean, free of marks except for neat ownership signature in pencil on the first white page. Dustjacket clean and intact, now in brodart. 1 and 1/2" closed tear at the top edge of the back panel, some very shallow chipping / rubbing to a couple of parts of the same top edge which expose the paper underneath the pictorial DJ, including at the crown of the DJ spine. Corners rubbed. Some light scratching and scuffing to the gloss of the covers but mostly just seen under bright light. None of this detracting from the lovely overall condition.
