About the Author:

A native of Pittsburgh, Dr Richard Leonard earned his bachelors degree in accounting from Robert Morris College. He received an MBA in management from Tampa College and his doctorate in administration and management from Walden University. Leonard was a member and player in the United States Volleyball Association from 1980 to 1997 and was AA rated. He has been on four USVB regional championship teams and seven USVB semi-finalist and finalist squads. During his playing career, his teams won more than 125 tournaments and league championships.
